ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION

Description:

 FULL-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE FOR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION THERAPY. Position is 40 hours per week; Primary work location will be The Alice Center and acute care setting. Possibility of work in outpatient clinic, can varying with departmental needs.  Rotating weekend coverage may be required.  Hours may vary according to the needs of the department. Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

 Must be licensed to practice in New York State.

  • Team oriented individual to lead and supervise Alice Center and acute care clinical staff
  • Coordinate communication with support staff to assure quality care to residents
  • Implement and provide clinically appropriate therapy programs
  • Perform ongoing QA and  productivity benchmarks
  • Graduate from approved Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy Program and  Current NYS License
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team

 The ALICE Center” is Alice Hyde Medical Center’s new skilled care and assisted living facility. This facility is the only one of its kind in the region, with six different “neighborhoods” that incorporate large living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, private showers, and ample social spaces. The two building complex provides residents with a homelike atmosphere designed to promote privacy and dignity.  This position will work in conjunction with our current Nurse Practitioner, our Medical Director and our team of physicians.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  •  Licensure as Nurse Practitioner, preferably in NYS; Ultimate obtainment of NYS license will be required.

Description:

FULL-TIME RN POSITION IS AVAILABLE IN THE ICU.  Primary shift will be 7pm-7:30am or 11pm-7:30am.  ; May also be required to work in the Emergency Department as necessary due to census.  Shift and assignments may vary per operational needs of patient care and the Nursing Department.  Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Applicants must have successfully completed Critical care training, BLS and ACLS certified, and be eligible for PALS training. 
  • 3 years ICU experience required, 5 years preferred. 
  • Charge nurse experience preferred. 
  • Position requires flexibility and availability for transferring patients to other health care facilities as needed. 
  • Willing to work towards Critical Care Nurse or Emergency Nurse Certification within 3 years
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the public is a must.
  • Will be required to float to other units and may be placed on-call per operational needs.
