OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT FULLTIME (REHABILIATION DEPARTMENT)

Description:


40 hours per week, Monday – Friday with responsibility to provide treatment in the outpatient, inpatient and SNF settings under direction of an occupational therapist. Shift and assignment may vary per operational needs of Department.    Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Applicants must be a NYS Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Strong communications skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast paced Rehabilitation Department.
• Experience in SNF, acute and outpatient settings preferred, but not required.

 

 

REGISTERED NURSE O.R. CIRCULATOR SCRUB FULL-TIME (SURGICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT)

Description:

 Primary Work Unit: Operating Room. Shift is 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M or 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.   Hours of work and assignment may vary per operational needs of patient care, the Nursing Department and the Surgical Services Department.  Will be responsible for scrubbing, maintaining equipment and all safety and Infection Control practices required in the Operating Room before, during and after the surgical procedure.  On call rotation required.  Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current license in the State of New York.
• A minimum of 1-3 years med/Surg experience required.
• Specific Orientation for Operating/Recovery Room (OR/PACU) Nursing, via AORN Peri-operative Education Program. 
• must be knowledgeable and trained to function within the Operating suite and assist with staff teaching in Circulating, Scrubbing, Recovery Room, and new Equipment/Technology.  
• Must also assist with the ongoing educational needs of the Surgical Services Staff. 
• ACLS/PALS/NRP trained or eligible within 1 year of hire. 
• Must be flexible and a team player to meet the evolving needs of the Surgical Services Department.

 

 

REGISTERED NURSE VARIOUS PART-TIME (ER)

Description:


PART-TIME   20 hours per week.  Hours will consist of (1) 8 hour shift, 6 p.m.-2:30 a.m., and (1) 12 hour shift, 3:00 p.m.-3:00 a.m. Work assignment may vary per operational needs of the Emergency Room and the Nursing Department. 


PART-TIME   28 hours per week.  Hours will consist of (2) 8 hour shifts, 3 p.m.-11:00 p.m., and (1) 12 hour shift,11:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. Work assignment may vary per operational needs of the Emergency Room and the Nursing Department

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• BLS, ACLS and PALS Required 
• Minimum two (2) years experience in Medical-Surgical Units. 
• One (1) year Emergency Room experience preferred.
• TNCC preferred, or obtained within 6 months of employment
• Willing to work towards Emergency Nurse Certification within 3 years
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the public is a must.
 

 

 

ACCESS CARE SUPERVISOR FULL-TIME (REVENUE CYCLE DEPARTMENT)

Description:

Position is 40 hours, 8:00 A.M. –  4:30 P.M. Monday– Friday. Hours may vary according to the needs of the department. 
 
• High-school graduate with at least 2 years of college or related experience.
• 3-5 years experience – hospital business preferred.
• Secure knowledge in and integrate systems that support the Access Care areas such as: EMDEON Verification tool, EMDEON Claim Estimator, EMDEON Propensity to Pay tool, Omnipro, E-Paces, Third Party web sites, Scanning tools, EMR tools, and ED workflow tools
 

 

 

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR/OFFICE COORDINATOR FULL-TIME

Description:


Shift is normally 6:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M., including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; but hours may vary according to the needs of the Environmental Services Department. Qualifications include but not limited to:


High school Diploma or equivalent
• Business subjects and effective interpersonal skills are important requirements of the job
• Must be able to create and interpret reports relevant to the productivity and operations of the environmental services office.
• PC proficiency is preferred (e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel , etc.)
• Must be able to effectively schedule and coordinate coverage for staff outages
• Ability to complete tasks independently and as part of a team
• Previous Environmental Services experience preferred
• Ability to understand both written and oral instruction
• Valid NYS Drivers License
 

 

 

LPN VARIOUS (NURSING HOME)

Description:


There are various assignments available for Licensed Practical Nurses in the Nursing Home:

• Part-time, 11:00pm- 7:30 am, 16 hours per week
• Part-time, 3:00pm-11:30 pm, 16 hours per week
• Part-time, 7:00 am-3:30 pm, 16 hours per week
• Full-time, 11:00pm-7:30 am, 40 hours per week
• Full-time, 2:15 pm- 10:45 pm, 40 hours per week

Shifts and assignments may vary per resident care needs and operational staffing needs of the Nursing Home. Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Must be BLS certified. . 
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to work in a team environment will be necessary. 
• Focus on customer service and patient satisfaction is of the utmost importance.  

Licensed Practical Nurse must be able to administer medication including I.V.s as part of the normal duties and responsibilities of the required shift.
 

 

 

 

MEDICAL AND CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST

Description:

Fulltime position performing a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests, procedures and related duties in order to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.  Analyze patient data relative to the patients age-specific requirements.

Education/experience:  A Bachelor's Degree (or Foreign equivalent) and NY State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist is required.

 

 

MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT FLOAT FULL-TIME (OUTPATIENT MEDICAL SERVICES)

Description:

40 hours per week; Variable days of the week and variable shifts.  Shift and assignment may vary per the operational needs of the Medical Center. Individual is responsible for floating between Health Centers and Employed Physician’s Offices.  Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
 
• High School diploma.
• Course in Medical Terminology/equivalent.
• Knowledge of coding  systems ICD-9 and CPT-4. E
• Experience/training in billing practices. 
• PC computer skills: e.g. Microsoft Office, Word perfect, etc.
• Sound judgment in assessing patient needs and prioritizing.
• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with patients, staff, other health care professionals and insurers. 
• Previous Nurse Aide or equivalent Medical training experience preferred
 

 

 

NURSE'S AIDE PER DIEM (MED SURGE)

Description:

Work Unit:  Medical/Surgical. Shift and assignment may vary per operational needs of the department.  Position will require coverage of vacation and sick time as necessary.  Low census unit may be required to float to other departments as needed. Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Must have the ability to be flexible with assignments
• High school Diploma or equivalent

PHLEBOTOMIST (LAB)

Description:

Variable shift,  shift and work assignment may change per operational staffing and needs within the Department.  Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• High School graduate; preference for applicants who have either completed a course or training program in phlebotomy or have a minimum of one (1) year experience or training as a phlebotomist.
• BLS required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
•  Must have the capability of transport.

Description:

The Supply Technician provides on-site materials management services for the Operating Room and Anesthesia Department and coordinates the use of equipment, supplies and instruments for the Operating Room.  Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Work in related field required, Associates’ Degree preferred.  Knowledge of surgical terminology, products and procedures required.
• Excellent medical terminology, communication, organizational and computer skills.
• Ability to utilize the computerized MMIS (materials management information system)

 

 

TEMPORARY ACTIVITY DIRECTOR POSITION AVAILABLE FULL-TIME (NURSING HOME)

Description:

 

An Activity Director is needed for 40 hours per week.  Shifts may vary according to the operational needs of the Skilled Nursing Facility. Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• High School graduate.
• AAS degree preferred.
• Continuing educational credit in activities profession preferred
