Ebola Preparedness at Alice Hyde Medical Center

While the risk of the Ebola virus presenting in upstate New York is low, staff at Alice Hyde Medical Center has been preparing for that possibility.  We are following the guidelines laid out by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and NYS Department of Health (DOH).  We are educating staff, training on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and drilling in response to a potential Ebola patient.  All reception staff will be screening incoming patients.
