At Alice Hyde Medical Center, our pediatricians’ primary focus is your child’s health. Our board-certified pediatrician and physician’s assistant offer the personalized care and attention only a small practice can provide.

We have convenient hours, and a provider is always on call outside of office hours.

Well-Child Visits

Your child’s health includes his or her physical, mental, and social well-being. It is important for children to get regular checkups with their health care provider. These visits are a chance to check your child’s development and are also a good time to catch or prevent problems

Even if your child is healthy, well-child visits are important because it is good time to focus on your child’s wellness. This means talking about what is being done well and how it can be improved. Preventive care is important to keep children healthy. 

What to expect at your well-child visits:

• Each visit includes a complete physical examination. At this exam, your provider will check the infant or child's growth and development in order to find or prevent problems.
• Your provider will record your child's height, weight, and other important information.
• Hearing, vision, and other screening tests will be part of some visits.

.Childhood is a time of rapid growth and change. Your child will have more pediatric well-child visits when they are younger and developing the fastest.
