Ethics Committee

Any patient, family or caregiver may bring an ethical concern to the AHMC Ethics Committee. The types of ethical dilemmas experienced by patients, family and staff may include, but are not limited to, end of life issues, informed consent and medical futility.

For information or assistance with this process, please have the Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager on your nursing unit contact the Ethics Committee Chair or co-Chair or in their absence, the administrator on-call or nursing supervisor for assistance.
